The 12 Days
of Ed Tech (Rap & Video)
by Kelly Walsh on November 30, 2014
Enjoy a fun Holiday Hip-Hop Romp
Through the World of Instructional Technology!
This video would excite most of our students
because it has such a unique HIP HOP beat. Besides the beat, it delivers a message. I have used www.Flocabulary
You
tube videos for the ‘order of operations’ or PLEASE EXCUSE MY DEAR AUNT
SALLY.
Since students learn better from
creativity and fun, I would use the web site shared by Hartzell, www.rappingacrossthecurriculum.weebly.com
to get my students engaged in their math assignments. These raps would also be ideal for other
classroom activities to get students more engaged in learning but having fun as
well.
How fun! I like it when people step out of the ordinary. I am a strong believer in students learning without actually knowing they are learning.
ReplyDeleteI also love to use www.Flocabulary videos with my students. They do a great job getting the point across and the students really enjoy them. The words and the beat stick in their heads and I hear students later on repeating the lyrics.
ReplyDeleteVery cool. We used a rap video during an assembly about friendship and the kids started singing along. Finding those unusual ways to teach that keeps kids interested is priceless!
